A FRESH APPROACH
Kevin joined Agility as a National Account Manager in September 2000 having previously worked for a number of international logistics companies in both operations and sales capacities. In 2002 he was appointed National Sales Manager and subsequently in 2004, was invited to join the UK Operating Board of Directors where he took up the position of Director, Strategic Account Management. Implementation Strategy
& Results
The presentation through the medium of “MS PowerPoint” is designed to be a forum for open and honest discussion. We present our findings and operating concept to address the identified inefficiencies in order to discuss our improved process recommendations and potential cost savings.
Review - Analysis
Financial Analysis
Agility adopt an open approach and it is essential for the client to engage in the process and provide full visibility and transparency of all current processes and associated logistics costs.
Presentation of the SCR Results
We present back, to the clients’ Senior Management Team, a “helicopter” view of our findings, identifying any inefficiencies in the current supply chain model and the results of the financial analysis.
The presentation of the SCR results also addresses the way in which Agility will manage the implementation process, and the on going management of the Agility proposed solution
All financial information received is treated in the strictest confidence. The information is then collated electronically and analysed in detail.

Concept of Operations
“I would have no issues in recommending Agility to undertake the same type of supply chain review for other like-minded organisations. The results are far in excess of what we would of achieved by putting any freight requirement out to tender and we are now benefiting from the experience.” Peter  Benton, UK Logistics Manager,  Habitat Retail Limited
“This is why Agility are different”  Grant J Boultwood, Logistics Specialist, Colorcon
“The results are far in excess of what we would have achieved by simply putting the freight requirement to tender, and we are now benefiting from the experience.” Des Drohan, Inbound Freight Manager, Henkel Consumer Adhesives

Habitat source a wide variety of furnishings and accessories from a multitude of diverse suppliers in the Far East and Indian Sub Continent. In order to deliver an enhanced experience to their customers, with increased order fulfillment and accurate product delivery dates, Habitat needed to improve their visibility of incoming Purchase Orders, increase efficiency in their Supply Chain, improve carrier management and be able to better measure carrier performance. Habitat was suffering from Supply Chain inefficiencies and, therefore, additional costs.
Agility answered Habitat’s needs by redesigning the Supply Chain with a proven methodology for managing a diverse set of vendors in all origin locations by establishing process design, business rules, systems rules and set up, and educating vendors. A mutually agreed and carefully planned implementation program, incorporating Agility staff on site throughout the process, minimised business disruption and ensured a fast and seamless transition to Agility’s Purchase Order Management and visibility system.
